
CEO, Fang Luo
About
Fang Luo is a cross-disciplinary developer with a strong background in electronics and systems engineering. He earned his bachelor’s degree from ShanghaiTech University and later pursued a PhD at Rutgers University, which he voluntarily left to focus on engineering and entrepreneurship.
He currently serves as Acting CEO of Sokoly Systems Inc., leading the development of a low-cost, autonomous UAV system designed for complex, GPS-denied environments with both military and civilian applications. He previously designed an industrial control system based on ARM single-board computers, now widely adopted in phosphorus supply equipment across China’s photovoltaic industry, with an estimated 60% market share. He also developed IoT-enabled animal feeding and behaviour tracking platforms, which have been adopted by multiple research labs.
Fang holds an FAA private pilot certificate, is a gold medalist in the iGEM international competition, and is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the American Heart Association.
